World Airways Extends Boeing 747-400 Freighter Lease for Cargolux

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (June 20, 2011) – World Airways, a subsidiary of Global Aviation Holdings Inc., is extending its agreement with Cargolux to operate one Boeing 747-400 freighter aircraft on a full-time basis beginning in July 2011.

Cargolux is one of the leading cargo airlines worldwide, operating scheduled and charter services on a network covering all continents. The company offers 40 years of experience and, measured in tonne-kilometers flown, today ranks in 10th position worldwide. It is the largest all-cargo airline in Europe. Cargolux currently operates a fleet of fifteen B747-400 freighter aircraft to move valuable and time-sensitive commodities on a worldwide network covering more than 90 destinations.
